Our frame building courses are available in the Fall. This year at R+E Cycles we're letting the cat out of the bag. You can learn our secrets for building frames in-house and one at a time. Here's some of the classes that we're offering. Read our class cancellation policy. Frame Building 101 - $300 (approx. 6 hours) Observation only. Curiosity got the best of you? Have you ever wondered how they make beautiful steel bicycle frames? Well then this class is for you. Come visit our frame shop and watch our master frame builders at work. You will see the process from start to finish, from drawing to complete frame. We will answer your questions and explain the process all the way through. **Note this class is strictly for observing and asking questions, you will not be doing the hands on work. Introduction To TIG Welding - $650 Two sessions, 2 1/2 hours each. In this class you will learn the basics of torch welding. If you have always wondered how to weld or wanted to find out if it is something you enjoy than this basic class is what you are looking for. With an option for 1 or 2 day classes you have the opportunity to try it out and if you like it then continue on for a second day and learn the basics of TIG welding. Learn to do basic torch welding Practice straight plate welding

Intermediate TIG Welding - $500 Two sessions, 2 1/2 hours each. The prerequisite for this class is Intro To Welding or you must have welding experience and be approved by the instructor. Have a little welding experience under your belt and hungry for more? This intermediate class should satisfy your appetite. In this class you will be tig welding on a rounded surface and learning the patience, coordination, and talent needed for this craft.

Advanced TIG Welding - $500 Two sessions, 2 1/2 hours each. The prerequisite for this class is Intermediate Welding or you must have welding experience and be approved by the instructor. This advanced class is for those who are experienced welders who would like to learn a little more and practice welding on thin wall steel.

Introduction to Brazing - $650 Two sessions, 2 1/2 hours each. Learn how to adjust a torch and braze fittings onto a bicycle frame.

Advanced Brazing - $1000 Three sessions, 2 1/2 hours each. The prerequisite for this class is Intro To Brazing or you must have brazing experience and be approved by the instructor. In this exciting class you will learn different brazing techniques on bicycles. You will have the opportunity to perfect your brazing skills with silver and brass. Also learn the different ways to braze bicycles.
