Seattle Bike Repair, the repair arm of Rodriguez Bicycles, is accepting applications for a bicycle mechanic for possible year-round employment. Rodriguez Bicycles has been manufacturing custom bicycles in the University District for over 40 years. Everything from design to frame building to paint are handled under the same roof. In addition, Rodriguez operates a full-service repair shop that assembles new bikes and handles general repairs.
The position's description and schedule can be flexible to fully utilize the right candidate, but at a minimum you can expect to assemble new custom bikes and perform simple bicycle repairs, with opportunity to move into more complex assembly and repair work and other parts of the manufacturing process. You'll work with long-term, highly experienced staff in one of the world's most unique bike shops.
