Steel is forever, Carbon is not!

At Rodriguez and Erickson Bicycles in Seattle, we're building steel bicycle frames that are lighter than even the lightest carbon frames. Our steel frames have a lifetime warranty, and are designed to last just as long as a heavier steel frame. Many folks have been led to believe that light-weight carbon fiber bicycle frames will also last forever, but that is not true. Just look at what Specialized, a major carbon frame marketer, has to say in their owner's manual (Page 36). Pay attention to the highlighted section. Just incase you think I may have edited that, here's the actual Specialized manual online (go to page 36).

Why not reduce your carbon footprint?
Now....maybe you'd like to consider trading in that mass-produced, disposable, decal plastered airplane wing for something that's lighter, stronger, rides better, and is custom made just for you right here in the United States? We'd love to help you out. Contact us today. If you'd like to read about just one of the many high performance riders that have re-discovered steel, read Steve's story here.
